A three-day training in leadership for impact, innovation and learning.

As well as the Dhaka training on 8-10 September 2020, we will also be hosting this training in Cox's Bazar on 15-17 September.

We’ve been destroying our world and its people for generations. The solutions we have been using are not enough. People are beginning to realize that we have to do better and we must act now. Our three-day training will revolutionize the way you work on humanitarian, development, social change, and environmental justice initiatives in both your work and life.

RADICAL THINKING

You will develop the skills to think critically about the systematic challenges facing our sector and wider society and your role in solving them.

BRAVE LEADERSHIP

We will develop you as a leader and make you more effective in bringing about positive change and lasting impact.

TRANSFORMATIVE PROGRAMMING

Justice and rights are the cornerstone of humanitarian, development, social change, and environmental work. With a Justice Based Approach, we reflect on why -- after 25 years of rights-based approaches -- inequality, environmental destruction, discrimination, and impunity are bigger challenges than ever before. During the training, we take cutting-edge approaches one step further by addressing the significant gaps that still exist in human rights based programming. Addressing power and privilege through critical thinking and reflection improves our effectiveness for grounded change led by the people we serve. We will develop your ability to ask challenging questions and share tools with you that will transform the way you design programmes, lead your teams and live your life.

Our trainings are participatory, innovative and proven to be incredibly impactful. Join us!

WHAT

We will critically challenge and explore many assumptions about methodology and practice in the following areas:

  • Privilege and Power

  • Strategic Leadership

  • Programme Design

  • Evidence-based decision making

  • Participatory Approaches

  • System Analysis

  • Localization

  • Rights Based Programming

  • Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning

  • Ethics and Accountability

We will also explore a number of innovative and exciting practical approaches that you can apply to your work.

The training will challenge you, inspire you and give you the tools to lead environmental, social change, development and humanitarian work that is truly transformative.

COVID-19

While we aim to deliver our upcoming trainings in person, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are aware that this depends on local travel and event restrictions, as well as the global situation of the virus. The safety of our participants and the people in the countries where we work is absolutely paramount to us. If we are not able to deliver the training face-to-face, we will conduct it online using a platform designed for our interactive style of delivery and learning to retain the high standards that we're so well-known for.
